In a previous installation I had under general personal settings the
full name and the primary mail address. Under webmail personal settings
there should be a field with the mail address associated with the
identity (like the optional "answer to" field. They are missing.
So, the consequence is: when I write an email, I can select an identity,
but all identities show the same primary email address behind instead of
the associated addresses.
I hope that's clear enough.

This field only exists in the webmail preferences, not in the general prefs.

I can confirm that. I am also under the General Settings the full name
and the primary mail address. (Version 2.22)

Sorry, didn't see that you are actually already looking in the webmail prefs.

These are advance settings that need to be enabled by clicking the
"Show advanced preferences" link.

Sorry, didn't see that you are actually already looking in the webmail prefs.
These are advance settings that need to be enabled by clicking the
"Show advanced preferences" link.

The advanced preferences are enabled. To each identity I have tied a
different mail address. But when I write an email, I am offered all
identities for selection as "from" with every identity being tied to the
primary mail address.
